Loyola University Chicago, gdzie działa jeden z największych programów studiów polskich poza Polską, jest wyjątkowym miejscem dla rozwoju tej inicjatywy.

Sweet September Serenade: An Afternoon with a Purpose
On September 20th, join Legion of Young Polish Women for a Sweet September Serenade, a special afternoon that brings together music, dancing, flowers, fragrance, and community – all in support of an important cause.
Guests can enjoy live music and dancing throughout the afternoon. At the Bloom Bar, each guest will have the opportunity to select fresh flowers and create a custom favor to take home. We will also offer a perfume bar, the Legion Scent Lab, where guests can explore different scents and create a fragrance of their own.
Guests can also take part in a variety of raffles featuring prizes for many interests, from special events and experiences to electronics and home items. Be sure to take a chance on the White & Red Ball Grand Experience Raffle, where every entry comes with a little sweetness to take home.
All profits from the event will go towards Loyola University Chicago’s establishment of the Center for the Study of the Polish Diaspora.
The new Center will focus on the history and experiences of Polish people living outside of Poland. It will support research, education, and programs that explore Polish migration, culture, identity, and the important contributions of the Polish diaspora. Loyola University Chicago, home to one of the largest Polish Studies programs outside of Poland, is a meaningful place for this work.
Proceeds from Sweet September Serenade will benefit the Center and help support its future at Loyola.
