
Roman Polanski questioned by Polish prosecutors on US extradition motion

On 14 January, Polish prosecutors questioned the filmmaker following a US request for his extradition over a 1977 child sex crime conviction. The Prosecutor's Office in Krakow is to direct the extradition request to the city's District Court to decide whether the extradition is admissible. If the court does not agree on Polanski's extradition, the decision will be final. If the court agrees, the final decision on an extradition will be made by the Polish Minister of Justice.
